Con el paso del tiempo me fui comprometiendo mas con la guitarra, quizas como un canal o excusa para denominarme buscador de aquello que no puedo nombrar mas que con 4 letras. Estudie musica institucionalmente, pero nada se comparo a la experiencia en bandas y lo aprendido riendo, llorando y “pariendo” musica.

Un Moment Magique est un morceau tout simple écrit il y a 2 ans maintenant et basé sur 3 accords que je fais varier respectivement sur 1 mesure : Em (Emadd9) – D (Dsus4 – Dsus2) – Am (C6 – Asus2). I have played guitar longer than i haven’t. At 12 I was a young guitarist of the year finalist and again at 16 and a guitarist of the year finalist at 17. I won Musicmann’s Jam 200 competition (the panel included Jon Jorgenson- Elton John / Hellecasters) where I played with Vinnie Moore and Jamie Humphries and guitarist magazine best band competition with Free Fall Angels in 2002. Entry demo disk was produced by Julian Standen (Bugg Music) free of charge after his contract offer was turned down.

This video is a mixture of my electric (rock) and classical guitar influence. The first section displays much of the techniques I have used in previous solos of mine while the middle section is a transition period that emulates the sound of a violin. The ending uses a technique in classical guitar called tremolo where a bass line and melody are played simultaneously. The bass line is usually played as quarter or eighth notes while the melody is played as 32nd notes.

I’m from the West Midlands (UK) and have been playing since I was ten years old (I’m 34 now). I’m currently playing in a Chicago Blues band and as well as playing live I’ve got a small home studio where I write and record (mainly for my own amusement) Over the years I’ve played and enjoyed most kinds of music, but blues is probably my favourite. I decided to use one of the backing tracks provided and being a big fan of Peter Green the early Fleetwood Mac style track stood out. My favourite musicians are Jimi, Jaco and JSB. Hi there! I have been playing guitar for a little over four years now. I was raised on Satriani, but Iron Maiden got me to want to play guitar. I thenstarted learning metallica, and other metal oriented stuff, as I gradually progressed into death metal. I guess that you could say I am stuck in the 80’s. I play six, as well as seven strings, and I love to play legato styles, with lots of tapping, and the occasional boring scale run. Sweeps are always fun too! Chris Warren began playing guitar at age eight in 1966 after noticing the fun our cousins had sitting around, singing songs. In 1982 his band ‘Spare Change’ became the house band at Wichita, Kansas hippest club, ‘The Stage Door’. Unfortunately it burnt to the ground soon after. Picking thru the ashes, he joined with his brother Mark, to form S.H.A.R.P., which became the first band in Wichita to play an outdoors show since the infamous riots in Herman Hill park. After several personnel changes, the band moved to the Seattle area and settled down in Everett, Wa.

“Shred till you’re Dead!!!” thats what i used to think a year or two ago….but now its more jazz shred till you’re dead. The progression i have made over the years is reflected in my music and i think i speak to everyone when i say its been a long journey. From the first time i played a guitar i knew…......and the long rocky road has made me faulter many a time. Its is only now i release my music into the wild. I study deep jazz fusion at uni and i plan to go deeper into the jazz shred fusion universe. Enjoy!!

I am Mohamed and I was born in 1978… in Egypt. I was attracted to rock and metal music at high school. First interest was in drums but due to difficulties having drums at home, guitar has been selected.
