Dance Theme

Hi My Name’s Nick, Im 25 years old and have been playing guitar now for 15 years. I’m into every style and love the acoustic playing of greats such as pierre bensusan and Thomas Leeb,the soring melody’s of satriani all the way to the excitment of paul gilbert to the fiery passion of shawn lane.

I have not recorded many compositions yet, although have endless ideas i play around with that have never really been recorded properly. some of my ideas can be found on youtube under “andrewslads” especially the acoustic ones. There’s some great guitar players around and some of the players on here are phenomenal in what they do.

However instead of recording another tune which will never be to dis-similar to anything that has ever been done before on electric guitar, i’ve decided to enter with this one.

it’s not even a tune, it has no real melody, no counterpoints and no dynamic references… and its even simple to play to! anyone can do it!

saying that i’ve never got bored with the way it sounds,it’s emotive and interesting to watch, and even though its so different to anything else i’ve wrote or what’s on here, i feel its the greatest yet simplest thing iv’e ever composed.

I know there’s not a chance in hell i’d win with this tune, and you might say hell whats the point in making a guitar sound like a keyboard? nevertheless to me it’s musical and just wanted to throw it some unorthodox ways of playing that i’m sure you’ll find interesting.
